Magic around the Lisbon streets

From the 26th to the 31st of August, Magic will take over the Lisbon streets. Rabbits jumping out of hats, pigeons flying away from magician´s coats and coins that disappear in front of our noses. Anything can be found any time anywhere on the third edition of the “Lisboa Mágica - Street Magical World Festival”. The Magic of the illusionism art will leave anyone flabbergasted from this Sunday.
In the last edition, more than 30 thousand people enjoyed the more than 170 performances spread out across the city. Luis de Marcos will be, once again, the event organizer and the Artistic Director, with the support of the County Ministry of Lisbon.
At the Street Magical World Festival, Magic is not a s ambitious as Davis Copperfield´s one; at this unique festival, magician´s aim is to innovate and amuse the public.
For that, the event organization has selected carefully the invited artists from several countries such as Germany, Angentina, Spain, USA, France, UK, Sweden and, of course, Portugal.
The performances will develop simultaneously from 10am till 9pm in the selected areas; o Lago de Camoes, o Largo do Chiado, a Rua Augusta, a Rua Garret, a Praça de Figueira, o Largo 1º de Dezembro, a Praça do Teatro S. Carlos, o Largo de Sao Domingos e o Rossio e no Terreiro do Paço.
