Eurostars Hotels clients can now take part in the 3rd edition of the photography prize, ‘Your View is Personal’

Eurostars Hotels announces the third edition of the Eurostars Hotels Photography Prize, “Your View is Personal“. This is an original competition, exclusively for clients, which invites them to offer a personal view, through photographs, of some of the 28 destinations where the chain is present.

The sole requisite for entry is to have been accommodated at any of the Eurostars Hotels establishments spread over Europe, Latin America and the United States. Those interested have until next 12th December 2008 for entering their photographs for the competition.

 

The jury will select a total of 25 photos from all the entries, awarding 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes, seven consolation prizes and 15 finalist awards. The first prize is five days accommodation at a Eurostars Hotels establishment and an Olympus Reflex Digital E-420 camera; the second prize is three days accommodation at a hotel belonging to the chain and an Olympus Compact Mju 1010 camera; the third prize is a weekend at a Eurostars hotel of the winner’s choice and an Olympus FE-340 digital camera. The seven consolation prize-winners will receive an Olympus FE-340 digital camera and the 15 finalists, an award diploma.

 

What is more, the 25 prize-winning photographs will form part of a travelling exhibition that will visit all the establishments belonging to the chain. The public will soon be able to enjoy the 25 winning pictures from last year’s edition of this original competition which includes images of Vienna, Prague, Barcelona, Seville, Rome, Buenos Aires or Brussels.

 

A total of 450 pictures were received last year from clients of Eurostars Hotels from Spain, Portugal, Ireland, Belgium, U.S.A., Argentina, Colombia, Holland, Poland, Germany, Norway, Peru or New Zealand.

 

Entry requisites

 

Each participant may present a total of three photographs for the competition, although the jury may only award one prize per participant. As specified in the Conditions, available on the Eurostars website: www.eurostarshotels.com, images must be supplied in digital format (.jpg files), in a maximum size of 2 MB each, either via e-mail to the following address: espersonal@eurostarshotels.com, or on a CD to be mailed to: Eurostars Hotels.
