‘Discovering Light’, the latest cultural backing by the Eurostars Regina Hotel

The Eurostars Regina (Seville) presents, until 10 March, a display of work by the Seville artist-photographer, José Carlos Roldán. Of the paintings on show at the Seville establishment, some of the most outstanding are: Life Games, Golden Reflections, The Force of NatureAwaiting a storm. or José Carlos Roldán demonstrates in his creations his self-taught experience in which photography plays the leading role and forms the larger part of his artistic creations. His is a professional career entailing a vast variety of photographic specialities, from portrayals of landscapes and people to social criticism and even macro-photography.The founder, together with María José Carmona and Alonso Díaz of the artistic group, MK, work by José Carlos Roldán has been exhibited in exhibitions such as the joint ‘Visual Ideas’ (Hotel Sevilla Congresos, March-June, 2007) or the ‘MIRA’ (Italian Pavilion at the Isla Cartuja in Seville, November-December, 2007). In addition, Roldán has participated in the ‘Flamenclorico: Lore of the Mines’ show, currently being performed in New York at the Helen Mills Theater.
