Eurostars Hotels will open 3 new establishments in Portugal over the next two years

Eurostars Hotels will continue its expansion in Portugal with the opening of three new establishments in Lisbon and Cascais, with a total inversion of 70 million Euros. The three new hotels will be fully operational between 2009 and 2010. Once these two hotels will be opened, the chain will have a total of five establishments in the country. Currently it has the Eurostars Das Artes 4*, a little charming hotel in Porto, and the Eurostars das Letras 5*, an exclusive boutique hotel which just opened its doors in one of the most exclusives areas in Lisbon.
In the Expo area (Rua D. Joao II) Eurostars will open a 5* hotel and 175 modern rooms, which will have a restaurant and several meeting rooms. The second hotel, also categorized as 5 *, will be located in an elegant classic Lisbon building in the Rua Cais de Santarem. It will offer 91 rooms, restaurant, bar and space for art exhibitions, one of the distinctive notes of the chain. Finally, the hotel Cascais will be categorized as 4 stars and will offer 101 bedrooms, as well as several meeting rooms and a swimming-pool.
The announcement of these three new projects is part of the development of the company, which considers the admission of more than 20 establishments in two year´s time. To be highlighted, the Eurostars Madrid Tower 5*, which opening is expected in 2008, is an spectacular hotel with 474 bedrooms spread over 33 floors, on the areas of the former sport city of Real Madrid, in the Paseo de la Castellana. It is also planned the construction of two other luxury hotels in Munich and one more in Berlin, which will open between 2009 and 2010
The last openings of the chain have been the Eurostars BCN Design, a designed establishment in Barcelona; the Eurostars Panorama 4*, a boutique hotel located in the centre of Paris; the Eurostars Embassy 4*, the second one in Vienna (Austria); or the already mentioned Eurostars das Letras 5* in Lisbon.
At present the Eurostars Hotels portfolio is formed by a total of 51 establishments distributed in 10 European countries, 2 in South America and one more in the USA. As well as this chain, the float of hotels managed directly by Hotusa Group enclose 36 additional establishments in Spain, Austria, Italy, UK, France, Belgium, Holland, Mexico and Argentina. In 2007, the turnover of the business area was 198,5 million Euros, an increase of 28% with respect to the previous exercise.

Marc Goodwin’s images do not take possession of time, but neither do his photographs enslave themselves to a sole instant. TIME, the latest display of pictures by this London artist closes the trilogy of “Urban Landscapes”, housed by the Eurostars Angli 4*, which began in March.
